Safety and Usage Disclaimer for Prowool Sheep’s Wool Insulation and Horticultural Raw Sheep’s Fleece
By purchasing and using this product, you acknowledge and agree to the following safety and usage guidelines:

Intended Use:

  • Prowool sheep’s wool insulation is designed solely for DIY use in non-regulated structures (e.g., campervans, cabins, glamping pods, stables). It is not intended for use in building-regulation-controlled environments and is not BBA certified. Similarly, the horticultural raw sheep’s fleece is for garden use only and must not be ingested or used in any other capacity.

Health and Safety Precautions:

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling the wool, including a certified dust mask, goggles, and gloves.
  • Avoid inhaling wool dust, especially if you have respiratory conditions.
  • Handle the wool gently; do not compress it or force it into tight spaces. Keep it loose for best thermal and horticultural performance.

Expected quality

  • Prowool insulation is 100% Sheep's wool and may contain marker paint and remnants from the shearing process.

Fire Safety:

  • While sheep’s wool is naturally fire retardant, it is not fire rated or certified. Do not install near heat sources, downlights, boilers, or naked flames.
  • Always ensure adequate ventilation to prevent fire hazards or moisture build-up.

Hygiene and Environment:

  • The wool is a natural biological product and may carry a mild earthy scent, which will dissipate after airing.
  • Ensure the installation area is clean and dry before use. If the wool or fleece becomes damp during storage or transit, it must be thoroughly dried before installation.

Manual Handling:

  • Wool can be heavy; always lift with care and use safe manual handling practices.
  • Avoid awkward lifting positions to prevent injury.

Non-Food Grade:

  • This product is not for human or animal consumption.
  • The fleece is intended solely for insulation and horticultural use, and no part of it should come into contact with food or feed crops.

Customer Responsibility:

  • Buyers assume all risks associated with the use of this product.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the wool and fleece are suitable for their intended application and to comply with all relevant safety regulations.

No Guarantees or Liability:

  • While we strive for the best quality, this is a natural product. We do not guarantee specific performance results, and we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from its use.
  • By purchasing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you have any doubts or concerns, please seek professional advice before handling or installing.
